DUKE TIP

Good Morning Parents! Some of you may have received information regarding the Duke TIP program. This program is designed to identify students who have scored in the the 95th percentile in either the Math or Reading portions of your student's 6th grade EOG scores. This enables this select group of students to participate in either the SAT or the ACT as 7th graders! A very exciting opportunity for these high achieving students. I would like to hear from any other parents if they are interested in forming a study group in preparation for the upcoming SAT and ACT tests. Good Morning all! First Academic Derby meeting is scheduled for tomorrow morning. I have spots for two 8th graders and one 7th grader at this point. Anyone interested can come and talk to me. Our first practice will be Thursday morning, my room, during FINAO, and our first match is scheduled for October 1st. Looking forward to it!
